An attractive and naturally worn handmade wool antique Persian Qashqai room size rug circa 1900 measuring 315 x 225 cm ( 10 x 7 FT ). Three interlinked diamond shaped central medallions each decorated with geometric objects surrounded with similarly eye catching bands of borders in deep blue and red colours. This lovely tribal Qashqai rug has been naturally worn and with the minimal intervention has brought to live again. Being professionally cleaned and washed both ends secured and few touches here and there in order to protect its heritage and make it ready for another few years of usage. The pile is low but consistent and has a very fine weave as expected from antique Qashqai rugs belonging to the early 20th century.
