Stunning handmade wool Persian Kurdish Bidjar rug measuring 190 x 132 cm ( 6 x 4 ft ). Dated in Islamic calender 1347 which is 1928 to Gregorian date, this rug was made around 97 years old! The natural dyed colours in various abrash in darker and lighter reds given the rug a very gorgeous decorative look. All over design of geometric and floral motifs and fine weave also proves the rug to be in one of the better quality Bidjar from the region. This rug has been cleaned and washed and restored with the process of minor repiling and touch of colours to bring its golden past back to live! The soft wool and all vegetable colours some of the advantageous features mainly used in old tribal rugs.
