From early 2oth century comes this lovely village made Tekke Turkmen rug measuring 188 x 144 cm ( 6 x 4.7 ft ). A beautiful field with rows of Elephant foot ( Gul ) motifs each decorated having rusty blues and brown and cream colours in the sun dried red background. This Tekke has very strong weave with dense foundation and has been professionally cleaned and washed with both ends trimmed and secured. The colours slightly faded due to the age but still very attractive and unique rug in excellent price.
