Soft handmade antique wool Afghan Ersari rug circa 1900 measuring 265 x 115cm (8.6' x 3.7'). rows of geometric motifs each decorated in Abrash field in various pale colours. This rug has a beautiful soft wool and lovely mixed colours where the wool shades changed. Generally pile Ok, some areas of localised wear commensurate with the age and usage, professionally cleaned and washed with both ends secured. It sits nicely flat on the floor and is an attractive tribal rug.
