It is easy to assume that the recent mass production of fine Persian rugs in the workshops in different cities is ultimately responsible for demise of other Oriental rugs, however one must not undervalue the artistry and craftsmanship of Persian rugs weavers who have certainly indulged us over the past three centuries. Their complex designs and colour platters are as such that have been accepted all over the world and for this very reason their prices are quite high.
