Stunning old handmade wool Caucasian rug possibly Perpedil or Shirvan circa 1930 measuring 195 x 125 cm ( 6 x 4 ft ). An eye catching all over floral motifs in a midnight blue background having similarly detailed and attractive borders in multi colours. This is a very attractive Caucasian piece with the rare design and lovely colour combination. It has been professionally cleaned and washed both ends secured and having very consistent low pile with very minor localised wear commensurate with the age and usage. truly a decorative piece to have.
