A beautiful handmade wool Persian Qashqai tribal rug circa 1900 measuring 165 x 125 cm ( 5.4' x 4' ). An all over geometric design in midnight blue background surrounded with multi borders in lighter blues and reds. This Qashqai rug has a very thin foundation with dense weave and is a very high quality rug. Remarkably both ends Kilims preserved which is rare in these rugs. Generally in good condition being professionally cleaned and washed. There is one small repair in one end Kilim. Very minor wear due to the age but generally consistent low pile. Very attractive and rare piece.
