Very rare handmade wool Pictorial Turkish Anatolian rug measuring 200 x 140 cm ( 6.4 x 4.5 ft ). Panels of ornaments and various treasure motifs all over in multicoloured field. The design also seen in both Persian Kashmar and Tabriz rugs under the name of Treasure hunting rugs which were made in special occasions. The weave indicative of Turkish knots but regardless of origin rug has very special look about it! It has a very fine weave and not often found in open market. I did some search and found similar mades in Israel Bezalel rugs since parts of the pictorial objects have holy scenes about them. Nonetheless I reckon rug has very interesting and unique design about it. It has been professionally cleaned and washed
