beautifully woven is this Pictorial T'abriz wool and silk framed rug circa 1970 measuring 100 x 75 cm ( 3 x 2.4 FT )including frame. The story of Pasargadae built by Cyrus the great the Persepoli and the Achaemenid Empire all observed in this lovely fine rug. The rug was bought by the previous vendor almost 50 years ago and still remain in good condition. The weave indicates it to be around 50 to 60 Raj ( good quality in T'abriz rugs ). The frame also is in good condition with no obvious chips or default.
