Very attractive antique handmade wool Persian Kurdish rug circa 1920 measuring 195 x 120 cm ( 6.3 x 3.9 ft). All over interlinked geometrical design in dark blue background having similar borders in sky blue field. This is one of the finer of the types with thin and dense foundation and lovely colour combination. It has remained in good condition with only few minor localised wear due to age. Both ends fringes secured and rug was professionally cleaned and washed ready to furnish your home.
