A fantastic handmade wool Persian Khamseh tribal rug circa 1910 measuring 200 x 146 cm ( 6.5 x 4.7 ft ). Stunning diamond shaped central medallions each decorated with detailed objects, birds floral and geometric amongst others having similarly detailed borders. This eye catching tribal rug is from early 20th century made by Khamseh tribes with many influences from Caucasian region. The weave is one of the quality one from tribe and although over 100 years old it has remained in descent condition with minor wear and consistent low pile expected from these types. It has been professionally cleaned and washed ready to furnish your decor.
