Very attractive and sturdy handmade wool Persian bidjar rug circa 1900 measuring 155 x 113 cm ( 5 x 3.7 ft ). Allover floral motifs in the abrash dark and lighter midnight blue background and similar borders in white and brown. It is rare to get Bidjar rugs of this size as normally similar weaves come in the bigger room sizes. The abrash blue colours are quite eye-catching and rug is in good overall condition with both ends trimmed and secured.
