An exceptionally attractive mid 20th century Persian Bidjar handmade wool rug measuring 185 x 125 cm ( 6 x 4 ft ). An eye catching central anchor pendants medallion in deep red field containing arches decorated with the geometric and floral motifs and surrounded with brick paterns having geometric borders. This rug is one of the quality Bidjar rugs with its sturdy but completely soft wool densely woven. The leather stripes stitched on the edges to prevent the rug from folding and although has age but almost in mint condition. It has been professionally cleaned and washed. Very beautiful piece indeed.
