Genuine antique handmade wool Persian Qashqai tribal wool rug circa 1900 measuring 185 x 120 cm ( 5.6 x 3.6 ft ). Diamond shaped central medallions linked together having detailed motifs such as birds, animals, flowers and trees surrounded with multi borders in similar designs. This good quality Qashqai tribal rug is one of the original pieces belonging to the early 20th century and although of age colours remained as vibrant, it has been professionally cleaned and washed and some restoration including new salvages and end stoppers. It is a very attractive piece and very sought after amongst collectors.
