Naturally worn handmade antique wool Mahal rug circa 1900 measuring 190 x 130 cm ( 6 x 4 FT ). Beautiful blue central medallion surrounded by floral red field having similarly unique borders. This is a rare Mahal rug in size where there are also similarities with the Sarouk patterned rugs. It has been naturally worn with low but consistent pile all over. Professionally cleaned and washed with touches here and there to restore the rug and bring its colours back to life. A very attractive piece to have around the house.
