Naturally light faded handmade wool antique Afghan Ersari rug circa 1880 measuring 235 x 185 cm ( 7.7 x 6 FT ). A presentable 4 rows of hexagonal motifs each decorated with geometric objects in lovely antique red field surrounded with the narrow bands of borders. The vegetable dyed colours which have been slightly faded over the years has created such a unique colouring pallets where otherwise impossible to create artificially. Although belonging to more than century ago it has remained in good usable condition with just minor wear in places. It has been professionally restored cleaned and washed with both original ends Kilims remarkably well preserved.
