A charming old handmade wool Afghan Beshir rug circa 1960 measuring 190 x 111 cm ( 6' x 3.8' ). A panel shaped design decorated with geometric objects in a very dark cherry filed having similar borders with the shades of yellow and white colours. This Afghan rug although has a bit of age but remained in very good condition with the good consistent pile and rich colours. There are very minor localised wear commensurate with the age but both end Kelims and long fringes remained well intact. It has been professionally cleaned and washed.
