Naturally aged handmade wool antique Afghan Ersari rug circa 1880 measuring 220 x 113 cm ( 7 x 3.7 FT ). A presentable column of 4 hexagonal motifs each decorated with geometric objects in lovely pale brown field surrounded by narrow bands of borders. The vegetable dyed colours which have been faded over the years has created such a unique colouring pallets where impossible to create artificially. Although belonging to a century ago it remains in good usable condition with just minor wear in places. It has been professionally cleaned and washed with both ends secured ready to furnish your interior.
