A truly magnificent handmade Kurk wool and silk Persian Isfahan Pictorial rug circa 1950 measuring 220 x 150 cm ( 7.5 x 4.9 FT ). Stunning hunting ground field decorated with horsemen hunting in multi colour background having an eye catching borders detailing animals birds amongst others. This mid 20th century pictorial rug is one of the finest from its category with almost 2400 knots in every 10 centimeter which proves the quality of the craftsmanship. The reputable weaver signature at one end and long lush silk fringes are only few of the highlights from this fabolous rug. It is in an excellent condition and for sure an addition to the collection of high quality rug's enthusiasts.
