Pre 1900 antique Yamout Turkmen wool handmade rug measuring 115 x 90 cm ( 3.9 x 2.9 FT ). A dark brown field decorated with geometrical motifs each decorated with different colours having narrow borders. This pre 1900 Yamout rug has been naturally worn however its presence has remained undiminished. It was made from naturally dyed wool with variety of eye caching abrash colours. It has been professionally cleaned and washed with some minor repiling to tune the rug. Both ends trimmed and secured. Very attractive piece indeed.
