Unique pre 1900 handmade antique wool Afghan Ersari rug measuring 167 x 85 cm ( 5.4 x 2.8 FT ). 9 rows of hexagonal motifs in two separate columns each decorated with geometric objects in a rare light pink and light grey background colours. Each motif has antique colours such as blues, peaches and light oranges which has made the piece being extremely decorative in both design and colours. The rug has a very fine weave and is one of late 19th century Afghan Ersari rugs which remained in good condition with minor localised wear. It has been professionally cleaned and washed with both ends secured and ready to furnish your room.
