An eye catching wool and silk Pictorial framed T'abriz rug circa 1980 measuring 95 x 75 cm ( 3 x 2.4 FT ). The love story of Layla and Majnun which passed from Arabic to Persian, Turkish and Indian Languages, most through the narrative Poem by the Persian Poet Nizami Ganjavi in 584/1188. The rug has remained in good condition and used as a wall hanging decor. It has a bit of age but colours still vibrant and strong. The frame has few chips along the edges. Rug can be sent with or without the frame.
