Antique handmade wool Persian Isfahan Shahreza rug circa 1900 measuring 200 x 135 cm ( 6.4 x 4.4 ft ). A tree of life design having detailed decorated motifs and florals in earthy white, blue and red colours all naturally dyed. Shahreza rugs are traditional P'ersian rugs originating from Shahreza, a city in the Isfahan Province. These rugs are known for their high-quality craftsmanship, intricate designs, and rich colors. Typically hand-knotted, Shahreza rugs often feature floral motifs, medallion patterns, and detailed borders, showcasing the artistry and cultural heritage of the region. The primary materials used in these rugs are wool and silk, dyed with natural colors, resulting in vibrant and long-lasting hues.
