An excellent handmade wool and silk Persian Isfahan room size rug measuring 310 x 200 cm ( 10 x 6.5 FT ) circa 1980. A central Shah Abbasi medallion decorated with detailed arabesques, foliage, and spandrels within similarly floral borders in eye-catching pale white / Cream having similarly detailed border in rich orange background. The density in this rug is very high almost 10000 Kpi in 1 meter square. This rug has high pile and has remained in very good condition. It has been professionally cleaned and washed with original silk fringes.
