Attractive handmade silk and wool Persian Isfahan rug measuring 240 x 152 cm (7.8 x 4.9 FT). Stunning central medallion surrounded with foliages, spanderles and wines in eye catching background colours enclosed with similarly busy silk and wool borders. This rug has a very high density weave with almost 680 knots per square inch. Although with a bit of age it has remained in very good condition with consistent wool and silk pile.
