A prime example of early 20th century handmade wool Persian Heriz rug measuring 320 x 220 cm ( 10 x 7 ft ). A powerful angular central medallion decorated with floral and geometric motifs in abrash pastel blues and red colours having similar geometric borders. This Heriz is one of the finer pieces of its period and its stunning veg dyed colours are testimony of craftsmanship at its best. Very much admired by both dealers and private customers, they have remained relevant and extremely sought after. This Heriz has remained in reasonably good condition with minor localised wear with both ends fringes remarkably remained original and intact. Professionally cleaned and washed and can decorate any room in needs of fab colours.
