Harvey Nichols antique Turkish Anatolian rug 4.7 x 3.2 ft
Handmade antique wool Turkish Anatolian rug measuring 145 x 100 cm ( 4.7 x 3.2 ft ). Three central diamond shaped medallions each decorated with floral objects in antique red background having geometric borders in blues reds and greens. On the back of the rug there is a sticker indicating rug was once bought from high street top fashion department store Harvey Nichols at Knightsbridge London. Harvey Nichols used to have a carpet department from as early as it opened its door until early 1990's when it went through a major fashion overhaul! The rug department which was located at the 4th floor then closed. The previous vendor must have pasid good money for the rug since rugs were not cheaply sold at that place!. This decorative rug has some wear with fading in colours and worn at one end fringes but still as beautiful with full of history. It has been professionally cleaned and washed so please pay attention to its condition before buying.
