SOLD AS SEEN is this antique handmade wool Caucasian Karabakh runner rug circa 1880 measuring 360 x 95 cm ( 11.8 x 3.1 ft ). Bold geometric Boteh or Parsley motifs in various colours in light antique red field having blues and white borders in similar design. This is an authentic Karabakh runner of late 19th century with eye catching design and colours. There are areas of wear due to the age and two visible small holes as well as some fraying at the ends but otherwise very attractive piece. May benefit from wash so price refelects the defects since these types are very sought after amongst both dealers and private buyers.
