Very attractive antique handmade made wool Persian Benian Tabriz rug circa 1939 measuring 364 x 241 (11' x 7') . Stunning central medallion in red decorated with floral motifs in an eye-catching midnight blue field surrounded with similarly beautiful busy borders. This rug is one of the fine weave T'abriz rugs with very dense weave and quality shimmy wool. The rug has been professionally cleaned and washed with both ends secured, very minor local areas of wear commensurate with the age and usage otherwise having good usable consistent pile.
