A handmade wool Persian Bakhtiari Garden Panel design rug circa 1980 measuring 152 x 110 cm ( 4.9 x 3.6 ft ). A typical Garden design panels with the individual squares each decorated with animals, plants such as willow, the cypress, and grapevines in the beautifully muted multi colours including light browns , reds peach amongst others. This highly decorative rug has remained in excellent condition with good consistent pile and long end fringes.
