Azerbaijan wool Kilim rug 10 x 4.9 ft
Very decorative old handmade wool Russian or Azerbaijan wool and cotton Kilim circa 1950 measuring 310 x 150 cm ( 10 x 4.9 ft ). Typical bold hexagonal motifs interlinked with some smaller ones all decorated in multi coloured field having similar bands of borders. This Kilim is extremely fine and has very attractive vibrant vegetable dyed colours. Although of age it has remained in good usable condition with some very minor localised wear.
