Rare design handmade wool antique Yamout Turkmen rug circa 1900 measuring 190 x 135 cm ( 6 x 4.4 ft ). All over Gul deign in multi coloured field having narrow geometrical borders. This is one of the genuine original Yamout rug from Turkmenistan region where all the rugs made in 19th and early 20th centuries based in natural dyed wool. This rug has remained in good overall condition with few spots of localised wear commensurate with age otherwise very attractive piece.
