A genuine antique handmade Hatchli Turkmen wool rug circa 1880, measuring 155 x 125cm (5 x 3 FT). Cross sections design each panel decorated with the geometric motifs in an eye catching deep red field with similar detailed borders. This is one of the fine Hatchli Turkmen rugs with good weave. It has been professionally cleaned and washed, restored with some repiling. Both ends secured and slavages redone. Some localised wear commensurate with the age.
