Genuine antique pre 1900 handmade wool Turkish Sparta room size rug measuring 405 x 305 cm (13' x 10'). A geometric central medallion decorated with the bold floral motifs in very light white, pink and green colours. This rug is one of the mid 19th century Turkish rugs with very decorative look. The rug has been naturally worned and has a beautiful faded look. The borders have good piles with the middle of the rug which is more worn. Even with the wear the beauty of the rug remains well in tact. It has been professionally cleaned and washed and both ends secured and ready to furnish your home.
