A beautiful and charming old antique handmade wool little Tekke turkmen rug circa 1900 measuring 120 x 95 cm ( 3.9 x 3 ft ). Five rows of three column hexagonal motif Tekke Turkmen rug in high quality having abrash dark reds and browns surrounded by stunning repeated geometric border. This rug has high density weave and good overall consistent low pile field. TThere is an abrash of darker reds and lighter browns due to natural dyed colours. It has been professionally cleaned and washed having slightly faded colours commensurate with the age however very attractive piece. Both end borders normally seen in larger tekke rugs.
