A genuine antique little handmade wool Tekke Turkmen rug circa 1880 measuring 100 x 90 cm ( 3 x 2.9 ft ). Rows of Gul motifs each decorated with objects in faded red and pink field having similarly narrow borders. This lovely fine touch Tekke rug has all the attributes of good quality antique Turkmen rugs. Naturally worn due to the age and usage, it has beautiful Abrash red and pink colours with unusual borders. It has been cleaned and washed both ends secured and given a little colour to come to life otherwise everything about this rug is its natural look.
