Genuine antique handmade wool Persian Khamseh tribal wool rug circa 1900 measuring 195 x 158 cm cm ( 6.4 x 4.5 ft ). Rows of diamond shaped medallions linked together having detailed motifs such as birds, animals, flowers and trees surrounded with multi borders in similar designs. This antique tribal piece is has all the attributes expected from finely woven rugs of early 20th century. This decorative piece has remained in descent condition with some localised wear commensurate with the age otherwise end kilims original and colours still lively.
