Attractive Oriental handmade wool Persian Kashan room size rug circa 1900 measuring 370 x 270 cm ( 12 x 8.8 FT ). Diamond shaped central medallion surrounded with profusely floral field having a magnificent Abrash reds and blue colours. The Kurk wool and fine weave with the interlinked colours are strong indicators that the rug was one of the works of the master carpet weave Mohtasham Kashani. This rug has been professionally cleaned and washed with few touches to bring the colours back to live. Both ends were trimmed and secured and it is now ready to furnish your home.
