Genuine antique handmade wool Caucasian Kazak Sumac , Soumak flat weave rug circa 1880 measuring 145 x 125 cm ( 4.7 x 4 FT ). Six panels each decorated with ancient animals and geometric motifs in very beautiful multiple vegetable dyed colours. having similarly patterned borders. Remarkably having both end Kilims preserved this attractive piece has been restored with some repiling in few areas so can serve new admirers. It has been also professionally cleaned and washed. There are few localised wear commensurate with the age and usage otherwise very decorative Kazak flatweave rug.
