Imperial rugs website present this extremely rare antique wool Persian Heriz large carpet belonging to the first part of the 20th century. Measuring 607 x336cm (19.9’x11’), it has powerful angular central medallion decorated with bold floral and geometric motifs in red and green main field and surrounded by similarly madder objects along the borders. Apart from its powerful presence in both design and weave, it also shows off its incredible abrash colour field. Not often such good re-condition and fine Heriz large carpet can be sourced in the market.
