An attractive handmade antique wool Qashqai tribal rug circa 1900 measuring 196 x 160cm (6.4' x 5.2' ). Three diamond shaped centra medallions decorated with birds and floral and other motifs in the Abrash blue field surrounded by similarly busy borders. The variations of blues in this rug are due to the use of naturally dyed wool. This rug is clean and being washed with generally good pile. There are few areas of localised wear commensurate with the usage and age.
