extremely fine antique handmade wool Persian Bidjar wool rug circa 1920 measuring 190 x 126 cm ( 6 x 4 ft ). Attractive central medallion secluded with linear bands of narrow borders in multi coloured field. The thin and dense foundation indicates the rug to be one of the high quality from the region. Generally in good condition with consistent low pile and very minor localised wear. One repair at the outer border of one corner which has been done well. Professionally cleaned and washed very beautiful piece.
