Fine handmade wool antique Afghan Ersari rug circa 1920 measuring 285 x 84 cm ( 9 x 2.7 ft ). 5 hexagonal motifs each decorated with geometric objects in deep red, pink and green colours having narrow borders with the similar colours. This is one of the fine of Afghan Ersari runners due to its lightweight and dense weave and thin foundation. Colours are lovely deep and antique and condition good overall with the minor localised wear commensurate with the age. It has been professionally cleaned and washed and in ready to furnish your narrow corridors, stairs or long hallways.
