Attractive handmade wool Afghan Ersari room size rug circa 1880 measuring 285 x 190 cm ( 9 x 6 ft ). Rows of bold Elephant foot or Gul motifs in rusty copper, gold colours having similar borders. This Ersari rug although well over 100 years old it defies the age and remained in good condition with only some minor wear in places. End Kilims are well preserved and although colours slightly faded over the usage but the rusty copper and gold mis colours still nice and decorative. Rug has been professionally cleaned and washed and could be a lovely addition to your room.
