Genuine antique handmade wool Afghan Ersari rug circa 1910 measuring 185 x 110 cm ( 6 x 3.6 ft ). Rows of Gul design decorated with the geometric motifs in abrashed brown background having similar borders. This Afghan rug is one of the finer pieces of the early 20th century with very soft wool and lovely mixed brown colours in different shades. Some localised wear otherwise in good consistent low pile condition having professionally cleaned and washed with both ends secured. Lovely decorative old piece.
